You’ve heard about Carolina barbecue – try this at-home seasoning mix for your next grill-time grub.
- 1 tbsp. paprika
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper
- 1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
- 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
Mix spices together. For a finer, better blend and to activate the flavors, grind the spices together. The seasoning works well on ribs, fish, pork and poultry. For best results apply the dry rub the night before and refrigerate. This seasoning also works great on rice pilaf, grilled corn on the cob, for French fries and mixed into stock as a braising liquid.
