Audi Debuts Premium Electric Mountain Bike for Off-Road Enthusiasts

Audi has expanded its electric mobility offerings with the introduction of a limited-edition electric mountain bike (eMTB) powered by Fantic. This enduro-style eMTB combines high-performance design with versatile capability, perfect for off-road adventures.

Inspired by Dakar Champion

The Audi eMTB takes design cues from the brand’s championship-winning Audi RS Q e-tron race car, showcasing a sleek and modern aesthetic. This eMTB is built for performance, drawing upon Audi’s rich heritage in off-road racing.

Built for Adventure

The eMTB boasts a lightweight aluminum frame with a relaxed geometry for optimal handling on various terrains. Mixed-wheel sizing (29-inch front, 27.5-inch rear) offers a balance of rollover ability and agility on tight corners.

Full suspension with 180mm travel, e-bike-specific wheels, and off-road tires ensure a smooth ride, whether on bike paths, touring routes, or challenging climbs. Top-of-the-line suspension components from Öhlins and a 1×12 drivetrain by SRAM provide exceptional control and power transfer.

Four Power Modes and Long Range

Riders can choose from four electric assist modes (Eco, Tour, Sport, Boost) to tailor their experience. The 720-Wh battery offers a range between 12 and 90 miles depending on terrain and usage. A quiet and efficient Brose S-MAG motor delivers up to 90 Nm of torque for effortless hill climbing.

Availability and Pricing

Deliveries of the Audi eMTB powered by Fantic are expected this summer with a starting MSRP of $9,795 (excluding local taxes). Interested customers can find more information on the Audi USA website and explore a range of branded accessories like riding gear, water bottles, and compatible bike racks.
