3 Reasons to Join Green Living at this Weekend’s Sustainable Fashion Events

If you’re on the hunt for something fun to do this weekend, look no further. Green Living is teaming up with local sustainability organizations to offer eco-conscious customers the shopping opportunity of a lifetime. On Saturday, August 28, join us across Arizona for a full day of sustainable fashion.

FABRIC Fest and Phoenix Public Art are joining forces for an “immersive shopping experience” with Fashion Incubator from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at FABRIC in Tempe. Their goal is to support multiple nonprofit organizations as they collaborate with eTruism (“Shop, Save, and Give Back”) and FPPA (Fire and Police Pension Association).

The Sustainable Fashion Evening Pop-Up Shop, featuring AZSAA (Arizona Sustainable Apparel Association) and Conscious Collective will be held at the Garment League from 5 to 10 p.m. in Phoenix. This event will be a sustainable shopping opportunity like no other.

Here are the top three reasons why you should join our conscious community at these one-of-a-kind events:

1. The Vendors

FABRIC Fest will feature local fashion brands, including Tucson’s Laura Tanzer, Heights Apparel, Leetie Lovendale, Adea, Liv Tall and others.

The Sustainable Fashion Evening Pop-Up Shop will feature 20 diverse vendors: Voyce Threads, Eco Stylist, Healing Seams, Designer Treasure Hunt, Vintage Cartel AZ, Activ Intimates, Denim N Then Some, GOLDN Rule Apparel, Amber Reed, Zabana, Bralessly, Redhead Sadie, Hendrickson Designs, Jesters Thrift, Vintage by Design and Time Capsule Vintage plus Green Living, of course.

2. The Food

Come hungry to the Sustainable Fashion Evening Pop-Up Shop we’ve got you covered. With several different on-site food options to choose from, you won’t have to leave this jam-packed event to grab a bite, leaving you free to focus on the fashion you came for.

While FABRIC Fest won’t have on-site food, shoppers can choose from several casual dining restaurants within walking distance of the event, offering a delicious option for everyone.

3. The Community

When like-minded people come together, amazing things can happen. Maybe you’ll find the sustainable fashion item of your dreams, or discover a whole new love for all things eco-friendly. Either way, you’ll be surrounded by your fellow conscious consumers and you’ll all be contributing to the important cause that you have in common.

We hope you enjoy shopping sustainably!
