Maple & Ash’s Fire-Roasted Asparagus

16 ounces asparagus
16-20 chopped Marcona almonds
Orange zest

1 cup mayonnaise
4 teaspoons garlic paste
2 garlic cloves (minced)
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
Salt to taste

Preheat oven to 400°F. Brush a sheet tray with oil or butter, add asparagus, and place in oven.

Cook for two to three minutes, then flip asparagus and cook for an additional two to three
minutes or until tender. When finished, transfer to a service plate. Garnish with Garlicnaise,
orange zest, almonds, and julienned mint.
