BEAUTY ON A PLATE: How Nutritious Foods Can Transform Your Glow

Wellness – that is, what will best support our mind, body, and soul now and in the future –  should be part of our everyday life. The best foods for health, wellness, and beauty are those that are rich in essential nutrients, antioxidants, and other beneficial compounds.  Incorporating these foods into your diet can help improve your overall well-being, support a healthy body, and contribute to a radiant appearance. Consider adding these to your breakfast, lunch, or dinner line-up for some well-known benefits:

Fruits and Vegetables are packed with vitamins and antioxidants that promote skin health and overall wellness. Strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries are particularly rich in antioxidants. 

Leafy Greens provide an excellent source of folate and fiber, as well as a host of immune-support benefits through these superpower vitamins:

Vitamin A:  Supports vision, immune function, and skin health.

Vitamin C:  Helps protect cells from damage caused by free radicals and assists in collagen synthesis and immune support.

Vitamin E:  Helps protect cells from oxidative stress and is beneficial for skin health.

Vitamin K:   Essential for proper blood clotting and bone health.

Nuts and Seeds, such as almonds, walnuts, chia seeds, and flax seeds, provide healthy fats, protein, and essential nutrients for skin and hair health.

Fatty Fish such as salmon, mackerel, sardines, and trout are rich in omega-3 fatty acids, which help to reduce inflammation and improve skin elasticity.  

Avocado is a great source of healthy fats and Vitamin E, which is essential for maintaining healthy skin and hair. 

Greek Yogurt is high in protein and probiotics, promotes gut health, and is linked to overall well-being and skin health.

Whole Grains like brown rice, quinoa, and oats provide fiber, vitamins, and minerals.  

Legumes including chickpeas, lentils, and beans are excellent sources of protein, fiber, and other essential nutrients.

Green Tea is packed with antioxidants, helps fight inflammation, and promotes healthy skin. 

Dark Chocolate with a high cocoa content contains antioxidants that can benefit the skin and mood.

A balanced diet that includes a variety of nutrient-dense foods is key to supporting health and beauty goals. Staying hydrated (drink your water!) is also essential for maintaining healthy skin and overall well-being.
