We will be joined by five presenters from around the Valley who share their expertise and insights on sustainability in the design industry. Those presenters include: Dig Studio’s landscape architects Brandon Sobiech and Chad Atterbury; Marlene Imirzian & Associates; Jesse Westad, Principal at WERK Urban Design; and Michael Geyer, President, Exceptional Water Systems.

Gilbert Mayor Brigette Peterson will attend and take part in a ribbon cutting ceremony celebrating the two year anniversary of Copenhagen’s Gilbert store opening.

This event is brought to you by Copenhagen, Green Living magazine and a nonprofit beneficiary Urban Farming Education. This Phoenix-based organization supports community gardens for schools, people with disabilities, unsheltered people, elderly and those in foster care. “Ecotherapy” provides therapeutic benefits that start with the simple value of produce and continue onto physical, mental or developmental benefits. The nonprofit’s Community of Gardens model assists in providing food sovereignty through a network of communal help.
