October Design Event: Designing the Community
Don’t miss your opportunity to Design the Community with Green Living!
Dorie Morales, Publisher of Green Living Magazine, will be joined by five presenters. Marlene Imirzian, a sustainable architect, will speak on net zero home and sustainable building materials, ventilation and daylighting; Tiffany Halperin, a landscape architect, created the space where the event is being held; Julie Wolf, an environmental graphic designer, will overview Thinking Caps Design; Karin Crawford will create a make and take flower arrangement; and Barbara Kaplan will share her interior design expertise.
Attendees can purchase raffle tickets to benefit students under a nonprofit organization – the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) – while enjoying drinks and hors d’oeuvres and shopping from local vendors. CDC COVID-19 guidelines will be in place. Connect and network with our partners, city officials, business community, educators and Green Living audience to come together as an eco-conscious community!
