About:
Green Stormwater Infrastructure (GSI), also known as Low Impact Development (LID), is a design element that captures and filters localized stormwater while providing benefits to the landscape and community. Some of the many co-benefits include water conservation, heat reduction, increased shade, vegetation support, local flood mitigation, and improved quality of life. Join Green Living Magazine and the City of Phoenix for an informative morning of connection and collaboration. Topics include Introduction to GSI, Engineering Principles, Implementation Successes, and Opportunities and Solutions. Whether you are new to the concept or are a GSI expert, there will be an opportunity for you to expand your horizon and build new relationships in this ever more important topic.
