Event will benefit the Northern Jaguar Project on November 16

On Saturday, November 16, Alma del Jaguar Tequila will host Southwest Spirit, a benefit for Tucson-based Northern Jaguar Project (NJP). This lively event will run from 6-9 p.m. at Moto Sonora Brewery and will feature a tasting session led by renowned expert Tequila Jay Baer, along with delicious cocktails, live music from Music These Days, a raffle, and a silent auction that includes vacation rentals, fine art, a custom Fender Jaguar guitar, Land Rover Defender trek trip, rare tequilas, high-end coolers, gear, gift cards, and more! All proceeds will go towards supporting the Northern Jaguar Project’s conservation efforts.

The event is free, though a $50 donation is suggested, which includes two cocktails and a raffle ticket.

The Northern Jaguar Project, founded by Rick Williams, is a conservation organization dedicated to protecting and restoring the habitat of the northern jaguar in the U.S.-Mexico borderlands. By preserving essential wilderness areas and partnering with local communities, NJP aims to create a safe, thriving environment for these majestic endangered cats and other local wildlife.

Founded by McCauley Williams to support the conservation efforts of the Northern Jaguar Project, Alma del Jaguar Tequila is a premium brand dedicated to craftsmanship and sustainability that recently became available throughout Arizona. Produced from 100% puro de agave at the acclaimed NOM 1414 distillery, offerings include Blanco, high-proof seasonal Nocturna, and award-winning Reposado — named “2024 Best Reposado” by Rolling Stone and rated 94 points by Wine Enthusiast. A new Añejo will be available this November.
