Green Spaces Continue to Decline


Husqvarna Group’s 2024 Urban Green Space Report reveals a concerning global decline in urban green spaces, with 75% of 344 cities across 62 countries losing green areas. While 95 million m2 of new green space was added, 158 million m2 was lost due to urban expansion. Despite this, 25% of cities managed to increase green spaces, proving reversal is possible.
