Come one, come all! Jewel’s Bakery and Café, located on 4041 E. Thomas Road, is debuting their new dinner menu on Saturday, July 23rd. Owner and award-winning chef Julie Moreno refused to compromise taste for gluten-free food when she found out her daughter was allergic to gluten. Moreno was inspired to create the perfect non-gluten flour blend and her business took off.
Formerly a breakfast, lunch & brunch hangout, Moreno and manager Ryan were inspired to start a new dinner menu featuring many of their old favorites, like Mac & Cheese and Chicken and Waffles, while adding new twists on classics such as Beef Stroganoff, Cauliflower “Wings” and a Portabella Philly Sandwich.
They also decided to add local craft brews, cocktails, ciders and wines to the menu for guests to try. The dessert menu consists of Molten Cake, Pear Croustade and other delicacies to satisfy any sweet tooth! All food is gluten free, organic, and made from fresh local ingredients. They pride themselves on serving up feel-good comfort food. Jewel’s Bakery and Café is open from 8:00 a.m.-9:00 p.m. daily.
