At Green Living AZ we are very conscious of making choices to better our planet in any way we can on a daily basis. We feel a responsibility to our readers and the residents of Arizona to share our knowledge of the green scene in our state, nation and all over the globe. In doing so, we aim to feature stewards of environmental awareness in our pages to help make everyone aware of the little changes we can make to create big ones.

And in that, we have a big change to share! We are pleased to announce the arrival of our new Editor-in-Chief, Molly Cerreta Smith. Molly comes to us with more than 15 years of experience and knowledge in the publishing industry, both in print and online media. She has served as an editor for lifestyle and business magazines in Tucson as well as the Phoenix/Scottsdale area. For the past seven years, she has focused her career on working for several local and national online publications in a freelance capacity as she raised her young children who are now in school.

Smith says, “I am thrilled to return full-throttle to the industry that I have felt passionate about since I was a little girl. I have always dreamed of being the editor-in-chief of a magazine, and I’m so excited that this dream is being fulfilled with Green Living.”

As part of her new of position, Smith has her sights set on expansion. “One of my goals here is to broaden the scope of people that are aware of the green movement and to help educate them about the deeper shades of green that are occurring right here in our own backyard. Every day I am learning something new about how ‘being green’ touches every area of our lives. I want to share that knowledge, and the expertise of true stewards of the environment here in Arizona, with everyone!

She is also excited about working with Green Living’s CEO/Publisher Dorie Morales and Creative Director Crista Alvey to expand the online version of our magazine. In the coming months, you’ll not only be able to enjoy all the features of our print version online as you have in the past, but we’ll also be featuring new content related to the print version as well as new articles not available in our print version.

About Green Living magazine

Green Living magazine is dedicated to educating, empowering and inspiring our readership to get involved in the movement to save our planet. Going green is not just for the generations it’s impacting today, but the generations that it will impact in the future. The family at Green Living aims to live and breathe the work that it does to help its readers understand that being eco-conscious in small ways can lead to very big change. Through Green Living’s print publication (which is printed on recycled paper using soy-based inks and is delivered, in part, by bike courier), its website and its growing social media and events presence, Green Living wants to reach everyone in the state, nation, globe and serve as true stewards of the planet.
